Tis the season… to teach kids coding! For the third year in a row, the Bruce Museum is bringing free Hour of Code programs to schools throughout Greenwich and beyond during the month of December. Last year we reached exactly 550 students with our Hour of Code programming. We're proud to announce that our numbers have more than doubled this year! It's never been a better time to learn how to code.

Summer has arrived and here at the Bruce, we're excited to be launching an all new summer series, Science on the Silver Screen. Come join us in July and August for three Sunday afternoons of movies, refreshments, and science!

Take Me (back) to the River

Take Me (back) to the River

8:00am - We are packing up gear this morning to back to the Little Manatee River. Our survey on Tuesday did not turn up any Suwannee cooters even though we have reliable evidence that they are there. We will be putting in kayaks upstream and paddling down river for about 6.5 miles. It is another clear and sunny day so the outlook for seeing turtles is excellent.
